Now in its third year, Boise Favorites continues to celebrate the businesses, people, and places that make the Treasure Valley such an exceptional place to live, work, and explore. Chosen by you, this program reflects the pride residents have in their community and the deep connections that define life in the Boise area.

 

Boise is known for striking a rare balance. With easy access to outdoor adventure, a vibrant downtown, a growing food and drink scene, and a strong sense of neighborhood pride, the region offers both opportunity and quality of life. From the foothills and the Greenbelt to locally owned shops, restaurants, and creative spaces, Boise has built a reputation as a place where community matters and local businesses thrive.

 

That spirit is exactly what Boise Favorites was created to celebrate. Produced by The Idaho Statesman, this program highlights the local businesses and individuals who help shape the character of the region while supporting the people who call it home. As part of this mission, The Idaho Statesman and IdahoStatesman.com remain committed to delivering expansive, around-the-clock coverage of the issues, events, and stories impacting Boise and surrounding communities.

 

This year’s contest once again saw impressive participation, with over 3,600 businesses, organizations, and individuals competing for top-three recognition across more than 200 categories. During voting, more than 136,000 votes were cast, a 54 percent increase year over year, underscoring the strong loyalty and pride Boise residents have for their favorite local businesses.
